Responsibilities

Performing all minor / major and preventive maintenances works on Siemens Energy Gas Turbines.
Site preparation such as preparation and check of tools, parts and equipment required for the work execution.
Leading site activities, controlling technicians. Act as the primary customer interface representing EM on-site.
Ensure documenting of site activities by preparation of daily reports, field service reports, findings records and measurement protocols.
Use diagnostic software, including vibration analysis software and equipment.
Effectively identifies technical problems as they occur and takes appropriate actions to resolve including escalation of more complex issues to a higher level, providing expert advice and technical assistance to support staff and subordinate technicians of customers.
Carry out Control / Mechanical related diagnostic and troubleshooting for rectification in-field, be able to provide an engineering solution to improve the performance of GT.
Actively support with post outage activities such as lesson learn documentation, manpower survey and feedback on demand.
Maintain the highest level of safety culture by endorsing company and customer EHS policies and programs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or vocational School Degree in Mechanical Technician.
3 years of experience in field service environment (such as installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of main rotation equipment).
Knowledge and experience of Root cause Analysis.
Experience working as hands-on mechanical or commissioning technician.
Experience working on Gas Turbines and Generators will be valuable.
Ability to read and understand and work with technical drawings, manuals, bulletins.
Willing to travel and work in flexible working regime.
Ability to work during long periods away from home.
Team player with the ability to work and communicate effectively.
