Responsibilities:

Managing technical requirements: selection of pipe materials, material classes, standard and special pipeline components, pressure, weight, and thermal analysis of pipeline systems, vibration calculations, and pipeline support systems.
Planning, scheduling, and managing work with independent assessment, selection, and adaptation of engineering practices, procedures, and criteria.
Developing and reviewing design and working documentation, including technical retooling, and preparing explanatory notes.
Preparing material and equipment checklists, bills of materials for pipeline components and supports.
Preparing requisitions for the purchase of pipeline components, materials, standard and special equipment, pipeline supports, and accompanying supplier documentation. Processing orders for the manufacture of pipe sections and supports
Technical evaluation of commercial proposals for the supply of materials and equipment
Approval of design and working documentation within the scope of authority
Conducting site visits as necessary for inspections, data collection, measurements, and testing (subject to approvals)
Communicating with customer representatives on technical project issues
Participating in department employee training and maintaining competency
Assessing the competencies of department employees and contractors
Participating in personnel selection: screening resumes, conducting interviews, providing feedback
Monitoring changes in Russian regulatory and technical documentation, customer requirements, and the Company's internal standards, disseminating information to department employees

Requirements:

5-8 years of experience as a senior specialist or lead engineer in the oil and gas industry or related fields.
Higher technical education
Advanced training in process or main pipeline calculations (CEASAR II, START, etc.) is preferred.
