TASK & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the management of environment, garbage, waste and pollutants.
- Conducting or overseeing field work to collect data.
- Monitoring changes to the environment.
- Creating solutions to solve environmental problems.
- Working with Environmental Engineers and other environmental experts.
- Writing reports about inspections or observations.
- Collaborating with companies to reduce their impact on the environment.
- Investigating concerns or complaints relating to environmental issues.
- Developing guidelines for waste management and other processes that affect the environment.
- As a member of the committee, conduct training for employees in the company and issue electrical safety certificates.
- Conduct safety training;
- Be responsible for all kinds of PTW management on site and carry out PTW work.
- Conduct on-site safety inspection, and track and rectify the items found in the inspection.
- Attend safety meetings and be responsible for tracking the requirements put forward by the owner and submitting reports.
- Incident investigation.
- Establish a safety and emergency system to meet Russian legal requirements; Supervise high-risk work such as lifting and forklift.
- Assist HSE manager.
- Other task if required.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Have 10 years of Environmental Officer experience in offshore industry.
- Understanding of environmental concerns.
- Familiarity with laws and regulations related to waste management and other environmental concerns.
- Keen observational skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Ability to conduct research and collect data in the field.
- Possess electrical safety certificates (not less than Grade 5) and other relevant certificates, and can be a member of the committee to issue certificates to employees in the company.
- Have industrial safety certificate, and can manage activities such as lifting and forklift.
- Familiar with Russian local laws and regulations, able to fulfill government and legal requirements.
- Familiar with site safety management.
- Good in English and Russian.
