Responsibilities:
  • Development of technical requirements and design of control systems: process control, safety, control panels, analyzer systems, communication systems, instrumentation and automation, and shut-off and control valves
  • Optimization and improvement of control equipment and systems to improve their efficiency and reliability
  • Approval of design documentation within the scope of authority, ensuring compliance with requirements and standards
  • Conducting on-site inspections of facilities to collect data, measure equipment parameters, and conduct tests if required
  • Participating in production risk assessments, identifying potential problems, and proposing mitigation measures
  • Interacting with customers on technical issues within projects, ensuring timely information exchange
  • Working with an electronic document management system when preparing and transferring design and technical documentation
  • Using and updating information systems and software used in the Company's operations
  • Monitoring changes to Russian regulatory documents, customer requirements, and internal standards, and promptly informing department employees
  • Participating in the development of internal documents and local regulations of the Company to improve processes
  • Conducting interdisciplinary reviews of design and technical documentation to ensure the completeness and consistency of decisions
Requirements:
  • Higher technical education (preferably in oil and gas engineering, automation, or related fields)
  • At least 5 years of experience in designing oil and gas field facilities, including control and automation systems
  • In-depth knowledge of design documentation requirements in accordance with current regulations and standards
  • Knowledge of instrumentation characteristics, materials, and cable routing technologies
  • Experience designing control and automation systems, proficiency with PLCs and DCS
  • Knowledge of automatic control theory, control loop operating principles, controller types, configuration methods, and industrial equipment controls
  • Skills in measuring process flow parameters and reading instrumentation
  • Understanding the operation of fire and gas leak detection systems, knowledge of their operational suitability and safety requirements
