Responsibilities:

Developing the text section of the "Fire Safety and Fire Extinguishing Measures" volume in accordance with Russian Government Resolution No. 87
Classifying premises by explosion and fire hazard categories in accordance with regulatory requirements
Designing automatic fire extinguishing systems and fire alarm systems (FAS)
Calculating the required water volume for fire extinguishing systems
Preparing technical specifications for the Instrumentation and Automation department for the automation of gas, water, and foam fire extinguishing systems, as well as fire alarm systems
Preparing technical specifications for the installation department for laying pipelines for gas, water, and foam fire extinguishing systems
Performing hydraulic calculations for water and foam fire extinguishing systems
Developing technical specifications for the construction department for construction and installation work related to fire extinguishing systems and FAS
Developing control and activation algorithms for fire extinguishing systems and fire alarm systems
Creating layout plans Fire extinguishing system and SPA equipment at facilities
Development of process and cable engineering support schemes (PES) for gas, water, and foam fire extinguishing systems

Requirements:

Higher professional education in the following areas: fire safety, technosphere safety, or fire extinguishing technology
At least 5 years of experience in fire safety design for oil and gas processing facilities, chemical production facilities, or offshore platforms
In-depth knowledge of regulatory and technical documentation (RTD) and regulatory legal acts (RLA) of the Russian Federation in the field of fire safety
Proficiency in methods for assessing and ensuring fire safety of engineering facilities, including the development of fire extinguishing measures and systems
Intermediate English proficiency (reading, understanding, and drafting technical documentation)
Experience with regulations and standards in the oil and gas, chemical, or marine industries is an advantage
