Requirements

Knowledge of English (intermediate level).
Knowledge of ISO 9001, API SPEC Q1, API SPEC Q2 quality systems audit methodology.
Knowledge of API 6A, 16A, 8C, 19SS, 19D, 19 L 5CT etc.as well as, DS-1 V. 3,4.
Knowledge of non-destructive testing techniques - visual inspection, dimensional inspection, magnetic particle inspection, penetrating liquid inspection, ultrasonic testing, etc.) using established objective acceptance criteria.
Must have inspection, assembly and testing experience or quality control experience with drilling and upper/lower completion drilling rental equipment for oil and gas wells (Liner hangers, cutoff valves, packers, float equipment, wellhead equipment, wellhead fittings, string heads, BOP, downhole tools, chixans, casing and tubing, threaded connections (VAM TOP, TMK, JFE, SLHT, API drill pipe connections, Grand prideco XT 57, 65 etc.).

Job Functions

Inspect/monitor for adherence to acceptance criteria, compliance with internal instructions, customer requirements, process documents and standards during visual inspection, NDT, assembly and testing of products/equipment.
Perform pre-production meeting with contractor to determine readiness to assemble products/equipment to verify personnel competency, instructions, criteria, bulletins.
Inspection / Reconciliation of incoming components in the equipment package.
Determine critical/non-critical areas of equipment and acceptance/rejection criteria by visual measurement inspection, verify contractor's fulfillment of these criteria.
Verify that acceptance criteria are met by hydraulic, functional, acceptance, compatibility tests, verify that the contractor has met these criteria.
